I have worked as a therapist since 2014. Before that I was as a Human Resources Manager working around Greater London and in Australia. My exposure to working with people in organisations led me to conclude that I was interested in helping people on a more personal level. I retrained in psychotherapy and fulfilled my passion to work in this field when I set up my practice from my home in Norwich.
Since then I have helped many people tap into their own unique resources and reshape their lives, overcoming limiting and sometimes life destroying behaviours and feelings. I am repeatedly amazed at just how resourceful people can be, even in their lowest moments. I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to work with people with a vast range of difficulties and to experience those people come to terms with and overcome their distress. Nothing pleases me more than to be part of that incredible journey of recovery.
I have a Advanced Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also practice hypnotherapy.
As well as working in private practice I volunteer for Norwich Mind and Sue Lambert Trust.
