Some people seem to be born to enjoy public speaking or performing, whereas for others it can cause extreme anxiety. A touch of performance anxiety can be a good thing and is often described as being useful in giving the performer an edge. A problem arises when the anxiety causes symptoms which inhibit performance. Examples may be, nausea, trembling, flushing, your mind going blank, being tongue tied, inhibited voice projection and catastrophising about what may go wrong.
I can work with you by using hypnotherapy to reduce and sometimes eradicate your performance anxiety or public speaking nerves. I will replace your negative and inhibiting symptoms with a sense of confidence and calm which will allow you to feel in control of the performance and enable you to project yourself confidently and at your best. I will use hypnotherapy to instil in you a sense of self-belief which in turn will shine through in your successful performance.
